R & W Diagnostics and Auto Care LLC in Goldsboro, NC is looking for a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join their team! If you have a passion for solving complex automotive problems and thrive in a fast-paced shop environment, this is the opportunity for you.

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using scan tools and diagnostic software
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic system failures
• Inspect, test, and evaluate vehicle systems including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension
• Communicate diagnostic findings and repair recommendations clearly to service advisors and customers
• Carry out repairs and maintenance based on diagnostic results
• Document diagnostic procedures, findings, and completed repairs accurately
• Stay current with evolving vehicle technologies and OEM repair procedures

• Proven experience as an automotive diagnostic technician or similar role
• Proficiency with OBD-II scanners, diagnostic software, and shop equipment
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, driveability, and engine performance
• ASE certification(s) preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a team-oriented shop environment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
