FUNDAMENTALS Child Development Center in Goldsboro, NC is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Twos Teacher to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact during one of the most exciting and formative stages of early childhood development. Responsibilities:- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for 2-year-old children
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports toddler development
- Monitor and document children's developmental milestones and progress
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth
- Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
- Ensure compliance with NC childcare licensing regulations and health and safety standards
- Previous experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood education setting preferred
- NC Early Childhood credentials or a degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for 2-year-olds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and staff
- Ability to lead a classroom and guide assistant teachers effectively
- Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Patient, energetic, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development
