The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients prescribed by the physician and under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.

• 1. Creates positive experiences for internal and external customers that will meet their expectations. Displays a high degree of courtesy, tact, and knowledge of services provided by the agency in all contact with staff, patients, and visitors.
• 2. Assists office with achieving positive patient outcomes.
• 3. Prepares and maintains appropriate clinical and administrative records in a prompt and comprehensive manner.
• 4. Maintains regular communication with supervisor/staff.
• 5. Stays abreast of overall patient care and improves occupational therapy skills.
• 6. Demonstrates a willingness to be cost effective.
• 7. Adheres to 3HC's personnel policy.

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum.
• One year of experience in home health setting preferred, or successful completion of a clinical fieldwork experience.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant currently licensed to practice occupational therapy in North Carolina.
• Maintain current CPR certification (BCLS).
