** Description of Work
** This position is responsible for interviewing patient/guardians to accurately collect demographic, financial, and insurance information for the Epic system. Will use Epic’s Real Time Eligibility (RTE) and external portals to confirm health plan coverage and obtain information for authorizations. Will monitor and resolve assigned work queues in Epic and work closely with Central Billing Office staff to prevent billing delays.
Responsible for managing a patient’s personal funds to ensure compliance with policies.
