Welder / Fabricator – Seegars Fence Company
Seegars Fence Company is seeking a Welder / Fabricator for our production team. New applicants are encouraged to apply quickly to secure a role.
Qualifications- Excellent communication skills
- A competitive spirit and ability to solve problems quickly
- Organized with strong multitasking ability
- Proficient in reading a tape measure
- Proficient in 9th‑grade mathematics
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 100 lbs
- Experience in welding and metal working
- Self‑motivated with attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrate Metalcrafters' core values daily
- Maintain First Aid, CPR certifications and other required equipment certifications
- Process fabrication orders daily to meet branch and delivery schedules
- Maintain shop equipment to ensure proper and safe operation
- Adhere strictly to safety and quality control policies
- Meet monthly, quarterly and annual production goals
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly activity reports
- Complete all required paperwork
- Continuously observe processes and pursue improvement in safety and efficiency
- Arrive to work on time and ready to start
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Comply with Metalcrafters Company Policy manual
- Undergo pre‑employment background check and drug screening; if hired, annual updates required
