Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum position with C-section circulation and OB triage skills required.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
- Patient population includes women in labor, postpartum mothers, and newborns
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am, three days per week
- Care includes delivery, recovery, and postpartum support
- Must be able to circulate for C-sections and triage obstetric patients
- Primary responsibilities include caring for patients through all phases of labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
- Participate in patient education, assessment, and developing nursing care plans
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Point-of-care bedside testing required as part of patient care
- Must adhere to established hospital and nursing policies and procedures
- Background check and drug screen required, with specific timeline requirements for completion
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience required
- Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
- Ability to perform duties related to C-sections and OB triage
