We are looking for a full time receptionist role and fulltime veterinary assistant role based in Goldsboro, NC. The receptionist role will answer calls, schedule appointments, answer emails, assist veterinary assistants with cleaning and animal care as needed. The Veterinary Assistant will be responsible for assisting veterinarians in providing care to animals, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Day-to-day tasks include supporting diagnostic procedures, handling and restraining animals, educating clients about proper pet care, addressing client inquiries, and performing administrative tasks. The role emphasizes both patient care and delivering excellent customer service.

• Strong skills in animal care and pet care, including handling and ensuring comfort and safety for animals
• Knowledge or experience in veterinary medicine for assisting in diagnostic and medical procedures
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service, address client inquiries, and assist with administrative tasks
• Experience in client education, with the ability to communicate proper pet care and related guidance effectively
• Organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or prior experience as a veterinary assistant is a plus
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine love for animals are essential qualities
