Overview
The merchandising & stocking associate role supports members by ensuring products are available and presented well on shelves and in the backroom. The job can involve moving inventory, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, and assisting members while stocking shelves. The position is fast-paced and physically demanding, with duties that vary by shift.
Responsibilities- Promptly unload trucks and stock products on shelves and in the backroom
- Assist fellow associates as needed throughout the store
- Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Fill club pick-up orders and stage items according to policy
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services
- Maintain safety and compliance by following safety procedures, forklift spotting guidelines, hazardous materials handling, and reporting unsafe conditions
- Ensure product rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation standards; manage product displays and pricing per company policies
- Monitor quality and display of promotional and seasonal merchandise
- Adhere to company policies, Open Door Policy, and ethical standards
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners to complete tasks and address improvement opportunities

Base pay and benefitsBase pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
