- Secure sales through leads, cold calls, site visits, and existing customers.
- Maintain a positive outlook to maximize commercial maintenance sales.
- Drive sales with strong relationship-building and administrative skills.
- Act as the first point of contact for maintenance customers, addressing problems, estimating, and selling equipment.
- Review data, prepare work orders, and track sales-related leads and opportunities.
- Build relationships with suppliers and stay updated on industry trends.
- Improve sales and HVAC knowledge through training and self-study.
- Respond to inquiries and perform sales duties as directed by the Sales Manager.
- Meet monthly and annual sales goals, identifying new business opportunities.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, contractors, engineers, and facility managers.
- Conduct site visits, assess HVAC needs, and recommend products/services.
- Prepare proposals, close sales, and negotiate contracts.
- Provide expert advice and post-sale support to ensure satisfaction.
- Proven HVAC sales experience, especially in commercial systems.
- Strong lead generation, closing, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Proven record in direct sales, with marketing experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical specs.
- Physically able to work in field conditions.
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license and insurability.
- 2+ years of post-secondary education in sales, marketing, or related fields.
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented professional.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Right-Suite, and HVAC software.
