Medical Doctor, Healthcare Consultant
Cottage Medical Group seeks an Endocrinologist responsible for assessment, evaluation, planning, and treatment aligned with evidence-based guidelines, performing at the highest professional standards of clinical practice. The physician collaborates with external referring physicians to provide continuous care and assist patients with appropriate treatment and follow-up as clinically indicated.
Qualifications:All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.
Education:- Minimum:
Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree (DO). Board Certified or Board Eligible in the physician's associated specialty.
- Minimum:
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in California. Must meet all requirements for membership and clinical privileges at Cottage Health. Valid DEA license (Schedule 2-5). AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days. - Preferred:
Successful completion of a specialty fellowship.
- Minimum:
Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics. Broad knowledge of medications, side effects, and contraindications. In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and best practices.
Work Experience:
- Minimum:
Proven experience working as a physician in clinical practice.
