Certified Personal Trainer

Overview

Gold’s Gym SoCal is growing fast and looking for Personal Trainers to help our members achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. We’ll challenge your skills, talents, and abilities while rewarding your successes.

• Conduct Fitness Assessments to design exercise programs tailored to clients’ goals.
• Assist clients in exercises to minimize injury and promote fitness; modify exercises according to fitness level.
• Monitor client progress, provide motivation and feedback.
• Provide information or resources on general fitness, trends, and health issues to benefit our members.
• Demonstrate and teach exercises while giving feedback on techniques to improve safety and effectiveness.
• Promote and sell identified personal training programs, supplements, and services.
• Participate in all scheduled meetings as required.

• Must be certified by NASM, ACSM, ACE or NSCA.
• High school diploma (some college coursework preferred).
• Excellent communication and hospitality abilities.
• Knowledge of anatomy, functional exercise, basic nutrition, and basic exercise science.
• Able to achieve and maintain aggressive goals.
• Stay current on certifications, trends, and topics of fitness.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Ability to move and lift up to 35 lbs; standing for extended periods; professional demeanor and clean uniform.

Compensation: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour.
