We are seeking a reliable and member-focused Teller to join our team in Gonzales, LA. The ideal candidate will have strong cash handling skills and a commitment to providing excellent service to our members.
Responsibilities- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, checks, and other financial instruments with care and attention to detail.
- Provide friendly and professional service to all members.
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in transactions.
- Promote credit union products and services to members as appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of member information.
- Previous experience as a teller or in a cash handling role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with banking software.
