Welding Technology Instructor
The Welding Technology Instructor is responsible for providing classroom, laboratory, and hands‑on instruction in welding and cutting processes. The instructor will prepare students for employment in industrial, commercial, construction, fabrication, and manufacturing settings while maintaining industry standards, safe work practices, and workforce readiness expectations. Instructors may be assigned classes at any of the four River Parishes Community College campuses:
Gonzales Reserve Plaquemine St. Charles
- Teaching SMAW, GMAW (MIG), FCAW, GTAW (TIG), oxy‑fuel cutting, plasma cutting, and related fabrication processes.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Collaborating with industry partners.
