Project Manager, Electrical Engineering

Mangan, Inc. seeks a qualified Project Manager in Gonzales, LA to support its expanding electrical power and control systems portfolio.

• 5 years’ project management experience in the engineering field; electrical power and control systems experience preferred
• Construction management and project controls experience preferred
• Adept at Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Project
• Highly effective written and verbal communication
• Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance
• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed
• Basic knowledge of sound engineering principles and practices
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering (preferred)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred)

• Overarching Project Management duties for one or more projects from opportunity identification to closeout
• Manage safety, quality, scope, budget, and schedule aspects of projects
• Develop new opportunity proposals, estimates, and documentation
• Lead project kickoff, execution, and closeout using standard Mangan tools and processes, including safety analysis, budgeting, scheduling, cost tracking, change order management, client updates, progress meetings, etc.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams for timely, quality execution of technical scope, including review of deliverables
• Coordinate with division leadership to resolve resource constraints
• Support implementation of Mangan’s Quality Management & Best Practices program
• Support implementation of Mangan’s NFPA 70E Electrical Awareness & Training program
• Triage client support calls, including after‑hours, to facilitate resource assignment and issue resolution
• Average 25 % travel with willingness to travel by air
