Aboutthe Role
As a Cook at Off The Hook, you’ll set the tone for our restaurant by ensuring all food meets high standards. Embrace an energetic atmosphere, collaborate with teammates, and help ensure every meal meets our premium Real Cajun Real Fast dishes. You’ll be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere, keeping the kitchen clean and organized, and supporting your team to deliver top‑notch Cajun food.

- Prepare and cook high‑quality meals that meet our restaurant’s standards
- Work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen, maintaining a high level of energy
- Take pride in crafting exceptional dishes and delivering a memorable dining experience
- Handle a variety of kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning
- Follow all food safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling and storage of food to prevent contamination
- Use kitchen equipment and appliances safely and effectively, performing basic maintenance and reporting any malfunctions to management
- Work closely with other kitchen team members and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may change
- Able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for work‑related functions and training
- 1 year of restaurant experience
- Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
- Possess a valid driver’s license
