Job Overview:

As a Mobile Semi‑Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on semi‑trailers on the roadside or jobsite throughout Gonzalez, FL & surrounding areas. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. You will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our clients to ensure their trailers are safe, compliant, and in optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain semi‑trailers, including brakes, suspension, electrical systems, tires, lights, and structural components.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and provide repair recommendations.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately identify and resolve mechanical problems.
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide roadside assistance as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, timelines, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Keep the service vehicle clean, organized, and well‑stocked with necessary tools and parts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably in semi‑trailer repair.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to semi‑trailers.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
  No CDL is required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
