Soni Resources is hiring for an industrial/manufacturing company for a hands‑on Assistant Controller to support the Controller in overseeing financial operations. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with manufacturing accounting experience who can provide strategic insights while being comfortable in the day‑to‑day finance operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in compliance with GAAP
• Prepare internal reports and assist with external audits
• Analyze balance sheets and ensure financial controls are effective
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory, and standard costing processes
• Partner with operations to provide financial insights on production and margins
• Manage capital assets, depreciation schedules, and process improvements
• Review customer contracts and determine credit terms

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• 5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience; steel or heavy industrial experience a plus
• Knowledge of ASC
  842 leasing, tax, and standard costing
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Collaborative and hands‑on approach; comfortable working across departments

Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications
