Data Scientist

Must have skills: Data mining, Machine learning (regression and classification), prediction algorithms, data visualization, data analysis, Big Query.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, analytical problem solver who enjoys diving into data, developing algorithms, and interfacing between technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Lead in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across inventory and operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions.

• Programming:
  Python or similar programming language.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platform GCP.
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Data Collection and Cleaning: collect data from various sources/systems and clean for analysis.
• EDA (exploratory data analysis): understand data patterns and analysis.
• Modeling: design, build predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems. Validate and fine-tune models to ensure scalability.
• Visualization and Communication: create dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
• Strategy: work closely with cross-functional team including data engineers, product managers and business teams. Understand the business objective and align data science solutions accordingly.
• Provide strategic recommendations.
