Paying $17.00/hr - $22.00/hr with overtime and benefits. The Installer will be responsible for site prep work, simple carpentry work, and the installation of all GDI product lines. The Installer may assist with the training, planning, assigning, and directing of work for the Apprentice in accordance with GDI's policies and installation practices.

Advancement to Installer may be offered as openings are available due to branch need. This will also be determined by factors such as overall job knowledge, skill level, quality of performance, adherence to all company policies and procedures, safety, and attendance.

• Represent the company, maintain crew behavior and performance, and can be evaluated on customer feedback including online reviews.
• Review work jacket with supervisor.
• Review and confirm accuracy of breakout in accordance with customer contract.
• Perform site preparation, including any work needed to modify existing structures.
• Perform carpentry work such as deck modifications, dormer installation, overhang cutoffs, wood knee wall builds, wall alterations, floor and ridge plates, and finish carpentry.
• Handle simple and complex decks.
• Demolition work.
• Layout and cut all materials to install the job.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site.
• Install All View, Comfort View, and Solarium products.
• Complete basic carpentry duties such as dormer attachment, fascia removal, standard fascia attachment.
• Perform service work.
• Collect necessary stage payments from customers when applicable.
• Set up, take down, and repair displays used for various outside marketing events.
• Other duties may be assigned.

The Installer must complete the Apprentice Development Program and have a minimum of 3–6 months of in-field training prior to promotion.

• Post-installation customer service survey score of 90% or better.
• Online reviews for 10% of jobs installed.
• Responsibility for crew efficiency in accordance with GDI guidelines.
