About the role: The Operations Lead position is responsible for overseeing the productivity of team members in our audio‑visual equipment warehouse. This position is a fast paced, high intensity on‑your‑feet job and includes physical work, standing, lifting, pushing/pulling, loading and unloading equipment. This also requires use of a computer‑based inventory program, Rental Works for order fulfillment and inventory management.
This position reports to and supports the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities- Work closely with Operations Management daily to guarantee all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and shipments
- Review and track inbound transfers needed for order completion
- Work with Assets regarding cable shortages and give advice on equipment alternatives when possible
- Work with inventory department on the barcoding of assets when necessary
- Support Operations by assisting as directed when needed
- Assist with the training of employees
- Project Ownership - Oversee the completion of larger orders or projects from the start to the finish
- Updates job knowledge by shadowing Assistant or Operations manager
- Works closely with in‑house prep crews to advance knowledge of show site needs and provide equipment as requested
- Other tasks as assigned within the Operations department or from operations management
Equipment Maintenance, Adhering to Standards, Learning and Following Processes, Inventory Organization, Technical Skills, and Interest in Entertainment Production
Abilities- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi‑functional and diverse backgrounds
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Planning, time management, collaboration, and organization skills required.

- Willingness to work a demanding schedule that is dependent upon evolving client needs
