About the role: The Operations Lead position is responsible for overseeing the productivity of team members in our audio‑visual equipment warehouse. This position is a fast paced, high intensity on‑your‑feet job and includes physical work, standing, lifting, pushing/pulling, loading and unloading equipment. This also requires use of a computer‑based inventory program, Rental Works for order fulfillment and inventory management.

This position reports to and supports the Operations Manager.

• Work closely with Operations Management daily to guarantee all tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and shipments
• Review and track inbound transfers needed for order completion
• Work with Assets regarding cable shortages and give advice on equipment alternatives when possible
• Work with inventory department on the barcoding of assets when necessary
• Support Operations by assisting as directed when needed
• Assist with the training of employees
• Project Ownership - Oversee the completion of larger orders or projects from the start to the finish
• Updates job knowledge by shadowing Assistant or Operations manager
• Works closely with in‑house prep crews to advance knowledge of show site needs and provide equipment as requested
• Other tasks as assigned within the Operations department or from operations management
