Lunch Duty Aide – Desert Star 25/26 SY

General Description: To supervise students in the cafeteria and on the playground for the purpose of maintaining a safe, friendly, and collaborative environment amongst students at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must possess a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance card
• Prior experience working with children preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be on time and reliable for work duties
• Must dress in a professional manner
• Maintain proper student conduct in cafeteria and on playground
• Provide assistance to students, as may be necessary to maintain the appropriate environment
• Guide students in playing harmoniously with each other
• Inform supervisor about any questions, concerns, or issues
• Follow all school rules and procedures in reporting and processing student discipline

Reports To: School Administration

Terms of Employment: 10 months, 12.5 hours per week

Note: Compensation will be based on 93% of regular rate of pay without High School Diploma.
