Safety Engineer​/Site Safety Leader

The Safety Engineer will work to identify factors that increase safety awareness in our facilities and collaborate with our internal team to implement solutions supporting an accident-free work environment. This role will lead initiatives to improve safety performance, awareness, culture, and accident reduction.

• Ensure multi-site implementation of safety policies and procedures related to employee health and safety, occupational safety and health regulatory compliance, and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical guidance on health and safety issues.
• Conduct routine safety audits.
• Investigate accidents focusing on root causes and corrective actions.
• Develop and implement safe procedures for new equipment and technologies such as robotics, lasers, radiation, and other hazardous processes.
• Disseminate safety initiatives through training, including compliance, technical, and new employee orientation.
• Lead safety improvement efforts and coordinate Safety Teams at each site.
