Position: Occupational Therapist (Part Time or PRN) –
SWAN OUTPATIENT CLINIC
, Goodyear, AZ.

Location: 13481 West McDowell Road, Goodyear, AZ 85395.

Provide 1:1 patient care in 60-minute treatment sessions, focusing on functional rehabilitation for adults with neurological injuries. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of passionate, skilled therapists (PT/OT/SLP/COTA/PTA) to focus on patient-centered outcomes. Provide personalized care in an innovative outpatient setting utilizing the latest technology and equipment including Bioness BITS, FES, biVABA, Assistive Technology, and more!

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family members
• Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted state license as an Occupational Therapist
• Current CPR Certification
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; lifting patients up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods
• Physical requirements:
  
  pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, positioning frequently

USD $45.00 – $52.00 / Hour
