IMS is currently searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Front Office Representative for our Primary Care clinic in Goodyear. The Front Office Representative is responsible for answering the phone, scheduling patients, checking in and out, and may assist with insurance authorization/verification and other office functions. This position will focus heavily on phone support and customer service with patients.

• Provide office support to front office staff to ensure efficient and effective office flow.
• Check patients in and out.
• Answer and route all incoming calls, and relay telephone messages.
• Efficiently schedule patients.
• Collect co‐pays, review and verify patient insurance coverage or other agencies, and compute charges to be paid by patient.
• Maintain an updated scanning/filing system.
• Understand insurance referral processes.
• Ability to multi‑task and execute delegated duties.

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Previous experience with Athena system is a plus.
• Strong communication skills; ability to take initiative and work well with an established team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Computer skills using Microsoft, scheduling software, and email applications.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be able to multitask several phone lines.
• Bilingual preferred.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
