Packer - 2nd Shift

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team and is currently recruiting for a Packer to work from our manufacturing facility located in Goodyear, AZ on 2nd Shift
. The hours are Monday thru Friday, 3pm - 11pm, with some Saturdays as needed.

• Packs bags of chips into cartons.
• Assembles cartons, applies stickers and packs cases according to case specifications while verifying the package quality of finished product.
• Performs visual inspections of chips, quality of chips and chip packages and alerts machine operator or shift supervisor / lead of any problems.
• Pours on rework as needed.
• Covers "pick out" lines and recognizes bad product.
• Perform daily sanitation task.
• Perform weekly sanitation task.
• Perform monthly sanitation task.
• Maintain GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Maintains and follows all Safety guidelines.
• Maintaining appropriate housekeeping standards.
• Gives lunch and work breaks.
• Trains new packers.
• Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
• Preforms additional duties as assigned.
