Lead large‑scale site or multiple medium‑scale sites to optimise productivity and business growth. Adapt to technological and engineering changes in the marketplace. Lead implementation of operational excellence initiatives and a variety of operating policies, processes and procedures.

Job Summary

Lead and coordinate the activities of the management team in safety, quality, sustainability, production, maintenance, WCO, and administration (Finance and HR) to obtain optimum efficiency. Create a culture of positive change and empowered employees who work safely, utilize a collaborative connected employee culture to sustain our facility for the future.

Essential Functions
  • Optimize quality and output in a safe and cost‑effective manner.
  • Communicate, support and effectively implement strategic initiatives.
  • Promote and maintain culture, policies, benefits, and operational goals.
  • Utilise WCO culture and data analysis to evaluate and eradicate inefficiencies in the manufacturing process (cost, downtime, waste, idle time, maintenance, quality, etc.).
  • Ensure capital expenditures are planned, budgeted and managed to maximise impact and return on investment.
  • Partner with the financial team for budgeting, product costing, and forecasting.
  • Provide support, guidance, and leadership to the management staff at the facility.
  • Lead effective change initiatives within the facility.
  • Promote digital transformation and connected worker platforms to enable employee empowerment.
  • Lead and promote pillar development.
  • Support ERP conversion.
  • Maximise WCO savings initiatives.
  • Promote and facilitate BDP sharing with multiple technology centers of excellence to support an efficient multi‑technology facility, utilising digital tools to ensure documentation.
  • Represent the facility along with department managers when communicating with technology heads and NALT.
  • Actively communicate with and participate with teams within commercial and supply chain groups as required to meet customer expectations, managing raw material, WIP and finished goods inventories, and optimise working capital.
  • Ensure facility maintains SQF certification, housekeeping and required Food Safety and customer‑required programmes and audits.
Job Qualifications
  • Experience in the use of statistical tools/methodologies, computers, quality methods and basic financial principles.
  • Effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation.
  • Lead teams to exceed expectations of the customer.
  • Influence, negotiate and resolve conflict and implement change to reach consensus and common goals.
  • Experience in recruiting, leading, and developing a team.
  • Direct experience in WCO principles and tools including lean, Six‑Sigma, kaizen, and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and S&OP processes.
  • Computer literate: MS Office, Power Point (Access, Publisher, advanced Excel), Oracle.
  • Self‑starter; resourceful, highly organised, and present positive image.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6–10 years of industrial experience.
  • 5+ years in a position of leadership.
Environment

Physical effort may include lifting up to 50 lbs, extended standing, walking extended distances. Work environment may include heat, cold, dust and noise. Work schedule may require travel, extended work hours, or shift work.
