Electrical Maintenance Technician - Week Nights

Join Utz Brands, Inc. at our Goodyear, AZ manufacturing facility as a Week Night Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician. In this role you will work independently to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain both mechanical and electrical components of our production and facility equipment.

• Take the lead in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, such as bagger machines, motors, AC/DC drives, fryers, packaging machines, PLCs, extruders, HVAC systems, conveyors, and other production equipment.
• Coordinate and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment uptime and optimal performance.
• From schematics to hands‑on repairs, install, maintain, and troubleshoot all types of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Use iPads and maintenance tracking software to log repairs, track equipment history, and keep detailed records for audits.
• Follow and enforce all food safety, GMP, and OSHA guidelines while maintaining a clean and safe work environment; support the 5S process.
• Work closely with maintenance and production teams to address issues quickly, minimizing downtime and optimizing production flow.

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience as a Maintenance Technician focused on troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with bagger machines is required; familiarity with fryers, packaging machines, conveyors, and other production equipment is preferred.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing PLC‑controlled equipment and motor controls.
• Ability to read schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Must be able to work at heights and lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
