As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Post in Goodyear, AZ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security‑related incidents and maintain order at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to promote a secure environment.

You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations for employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with security‑related inquiries and directions as needed.
• Carry out security‑related procedures and follow site‑specific policies to help maintain order within the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any security‑related incidents, observations, or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as required by the site, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security‑related needs and maintain a positive presence at the location.

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
