The A&P Aircraft Mechanic I will perform maintenance in accordance with FAA approved technical data and company quality standards.

• Safety-sensitive position subject to pre-employment and random DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Review work assignments, obtain tools and parts, and complete jobs in a timely manner following applicable manuals.
• Ensure routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards are correctly completed and signed off.
• Verify calibrated tooling is current and noted on paperwork.
• Follow the company’s written policies regarding environmental health and safety.
• Perform all work in accordance with approved or accepted FAA data.
• Maintain the premises in a clean and organized manner.
• Return work to service.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or other management personnel.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate Required.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Large commercial aircraft experience preferred.
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check and preemployment drug test per DOT regulations.

• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Positive attitude and willingness to cooperate with others.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces or elevated areas.
• Commitment to continuous learning (keeping up with new technologies & regulations).
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work products.
• Must be flexible to work any shift.
• Have mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools safely.

• Hangar and ramp atmosphere. Must be able to work in uncontrolled climate conditions.

• Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and/or service stands.
• Normal or corrected vision and hearing is required.

• Sign on bonus available.
