Overview
Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Pipe Layer for the Goodyear Wet Utility Pipeline Projects JOC, in Goodyear, AZ. The Pipe Layer will perform pipe-laying tasks involving physical labor (laying, joining, wrapping, sealing) on construction jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects; may operate hand and/or power tools as needed; may prepare site and assist with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities- Lay, join, align, wrap, and seal pipe sections, clay, concrete, and other types of pipe for water/gas main, sanitary sewer, telephone/electrical conduits.
- Work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, hammers, and other tools as directed by management.
- Perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
- 1 Year Verifiable Experience Preferred.
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
- Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods.
- Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
