Job SummaryThe Warehouse Forklift Driver is responsible for operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products within the warehouse.
Basic Qualifications- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Forklift certification preferred; on the job training provided
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- One (1) year of similar work experience preferred
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to transport materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers safely.
- Move inventory to designated storage areas and maintain organization.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and cycle counting.
- Use computer, reads work order, or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
- Load materials and/or buggies into trailers and/or trucks.
- Install strapping or chains to prevent shifting or damage while in transit.
- Print necessary labels and manifests.
- Perform janitorial duties such as emptying trash cans, cleaning restrooms, and scrubbing floors.
