This company is a £10m turnover manufacturing business and they are looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to work closely with the Finance Director helping to drive improvements across the finance function while supporting business decisions with high quality financial insight.
You will be responsible for producing accurate financial information and providing meaningful analysis that supports operational and strategic decision making.
Preparing monthly management accounts
Producing budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting
Delivering meaningful sales and financial analysis
Supporting stock accounting and standard costing
Assisting with statutory accounts and the annual audit
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, reporting and business processes
Working closely with operational teams to provide financial support on business improvement projects
You will be;
Qualified Accountant with experience of preparing management accounts
Strong Excel and data analysis skills
Manufacturing experience is desirablealthoughequally interested in candidates looking to move into the sector
A proactive approach with a genuine desire to improve processes and add value
This role will be involved with major projects including embracing AI and provides genuine career progression
