GSL Education are seeking a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to work within a secondary SEMH setting in the Goole area, supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour and require consistent adult support.

Behaviour Teaching Assistant Responsibilities- Support pupils with behavioural challenges
- Assist with behaviour management strategies
- Encourage positive conduct and engagement
- Support pupils during lessons and transitions
- Maintain a safe and structured learning environment
- Experience in behaviour or SEMH support
- Strong understanding of behaviour strategies
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
