Salary Scale: £168.80 - £261.79 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education Hull Branch are currently hiring a Science Teacher to work across a range of forward-thinking and supportive secondary schools in Goole. We are looking for a knowledgeable, motivated, and committed educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality Science lessons and encouraging students to develop curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong interest in the subject.
Science Teacher Role:
The successful Science Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop a strong understanding of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics through both practical and theoretical learning. We are looking to recruit a Science Teacher who can inspire learners of all abilities, maintain high expectations, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Teach practical and theoretical aspects of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning needs
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well‑organised classroom and laboratory environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching across the Science curriculum
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
- A passion for Science education and a commitment to raising student achievement
- An up‑to‑date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
