We are seeking a confident Chemistry Graduate to join an Outstanding all-boys secondary school in Barnet from January 2027 until July 2027 as an Unqualified Chemistry Teacher. The Role | Chemistry Graduate Full-time position:
January 2027 July 2027 Fixed-term role covering a planned period of staff absence Work as an Unqualified Chemistry Teacher within the Science department Support the delivery of engaging Chemistry lessons across the school Lead and support practical experiments and classroom activities Set up and manage laboratory equipment and resources Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times Work alongside experienced Science and Chemistry teachers About You A minimum 2:1 degree in Chemistry from a leading UK university A or A
* grades at A Level, including Chemistry Strong subject knowledge and confidence in Chemistry Confident communicating with and supporting students in the classroom Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills A genuine passion for Chemistry and education Previous school or classroom experience is desirable but not essential Keen to gain valuable teaching experience before pursuing a career in education The School Located in Barnet, this Outstanding all-boys secondary school has a strong academic reputation and a welcoming Science department.
