DevOps Support Manager

Location: North Howden

We're looking for a hands-on Dev Ops Support Manager to lead a small technical support team within a growing SaaS business. This is a hybrid role, with o pportunity to lead and shape a growing support function. This role combines team leadership with technical problem-solving. You'll own major incident management, act as the escalation point for critical issues, and work closely with engineering teams to ensure problems are resolved quickly and effectively.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking charge during outages, coordinating stakeholders, and driving issues through to resolution. Responsibilities Lead, mentor and develop a team of support engineers. Own major incident management and serve as the escalation point for critical issues. Coordinate cross-functional teams during outages and service disruptions. Remain hands-on with troubleshooting, investigation and root cause analysis. Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement across support operations.

Work closely with Dev Ops and Engineering teams to improve reliability and customer experience. Requirements Experience leading a technical support, operations or Dev Ops team. Strong experience managing major incidents and high-priority escalations. Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting cloud-based or SaaS platforms. Good understanding of Linux environments. Exposure to Kubernetes and modern operational tooling is beneficial. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
