Responsibilities:
As an Assembly Operative, you will:
- Execute fast-paced assembly operations on various assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Assemble parts, semi-products, or components according to detailed plans
- utilise a limited number of specialised tools effectively
- Conduct quality sight checks to ensure functionality
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience as a production operative, assembly operative, or in a shop floor setting
- Skills in assisting with mechanical overhauls (disassembly and assembly)
- Experience in failure and root cause analysis
- Ability to perform necessary repairs and conduct quality checks to industry standards
- Strong eye for detail and health & safety awareness
- Motivation and a focus on quality-driven work
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Note:
This position requires standing for extended periods
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
While not mandatory, the following are advantageous:
- Additional certifications or training related to assembly operations
- Experience in a similar role within the mobility or manufacturing sector
Technologies:
- Familiarity with specialised tools or equipment pertinent to assembly operations
