Production Supervisor

On Point Personnel are pleased to be recruiting for our prestigious client based in Goole East Riding.

Monday to Friday 8am-5pm £36,000 per annum with shift allowance

To support the Production Manager and colleagues, to ensure the smooth running of the production process.  To ensure that all products are produced to the correct specification and all targets and deadlines are met to achieve customer orders.  To ensure that all direct staff comply with the company’s Health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities and Skills.

1.
To assist in the management of production and quality targets and to ensure smooth running of the production process.
2.
Manage develop and motivate direct reporting staff
3.
Monitor, measure and report on production related issues
4.
Ensure good communication is given either verbally or in writing to all reporting staff as required.
5.
Have an active role in the companies continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company
6.
Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace
7.
Use the companies’ resources in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs.
8.
Maintain high levels of time keeping
9.
Communicate with the manager on the efficient operation of the production line.
10.
Visual checking of the product, packaging and finished products on the production line;
11.
Planning performance reviews in conjunction with the Site/Production Manager
