Production Line Leaders

On Point Personnel are recruiting for our prestigious client based Goole for experienced Production Line leaders.

Monday to Friday £14.50 per hour with shifty allowance - 8am-5pm

Purpose of the Role:
As a Line Leader you will be a key member of the production team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the production line. Working closely with the Shift Leader and Production Manager, you will oversee the team’s activities, ensuring that all production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raw Material Management:
Ensure that sufficient raw materials are available in advance of production to prevent delays.

• Production Monitoring:
Oversee the production , ensuring all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

• Team Coaching and Support:
Lead and motivate production staff, providing guidance and instruction to maintain an efficient and productive workflow.

• Quality Assurance:
Perform regular checks on, packaging, and finished products to ensure they meet the required standards, and address any quality deviations with the Shift Leader/Production Managers.

• Administrative Duties:
Complete necessary administrative tasks, including specification worksheets, line checks, and entering production data into the system.

• Health and Safety Compliance:
Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures. Ensure housekeeping standards are consistently met.

• Problem Solving:
Report any maintenance issues to the Shift Leader and work to resolve them promptly.

• Production Efficiency:
Help achieve continuous improvement in the production process by meeting targets and minimizing changeover time.

• Additional Tasks:
Be flexible to take on extra shifts when required and assist with any other tasks as assigned by the Shift Leader/Production Manager
