Wienerberger is pronounced vee-ner-ber-ger About the role As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (known internally as a Maintenance Electrician) at our Broomfleet site, you will be part of our hands on inhouse team who keep the plant running by ensuring the equipment runs smoothly.

From troubleshooting to planned preventive maintenance (PPM), you will be hands-on with specialist machinery, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

It's a dynamic role where problem-solving skills and technical expertise are used daily, and you will be a key player contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our production processes. Our engineers have a varied role, so youll get the chance to use a variety of electrical skills associated with being an electrician and service engineer. We will provide you with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to enable you to safely and effectively work as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer where you will Install and maintaining all electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment or machinery Operating a preventative electrical maintenance system Faulting finding and repairs Program Siemens & other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Use various types of testing equipment to locate and remedy faults Promote Lean thinking Attend breakdowns Contribute to safe systems of work (SSOW) documentation Adhere to Wienerbergers quality system & standards in accordance with BSEN ISO 9001 Thissiteproduces Roof tiles, supporting our manufacturing of high-quality building materials across the UK.

This position is based at our Broomfleet site, which is near Gilberdykeand is easily commutable from Goole, Market Weighton,Hessle,and Brough. Hours of Work: 7.00am 7.00pm (2 days) and 7.00pm to 7.00am (2 nights) on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern About You You will be an electrically biased engineer with experience of working in a manufacturing / factory environment, with a minimum level 3 qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline.

As this role is sometimes physically demanding, youll be fit enough to perform your various duties. Youll also have Strong team playing skills Good communication (written and verbal) Good working knowledge of environment, health, and safety (EHS) processes Analytical & problem-solving skills Diagnostics experience of electrical motors and pneumatics Experience and knowledge of PLCs (programmable logic controllers) Desirable 17 th / 18 th edition qualified (although training could be provided) Completed a hands-on apprentice training programme HNC or HND qualification (or equivalent) Experience in heavy industry manufacturing About our Benefits Weekly paid Basic rate: £20.00 - £24.50 per hour (based on experience) Additional annual allowances: £7,500 Based on your working hours, and any eligible allowances and bonuses, your annual earnings will be approximately £49,475 to £56,419 (depending on experience) Overtime opportunities are available regularly to increase your earnings Other benefits include Support is there when you need it through our employeeassistanceand…
