Hours:

Hourly rate £13.61, guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, earning at least £217 per week. Overtime may be available.

• Support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service.
• Run the shop in manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines maintained.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• Friendly, positive, hardworking approach.
• People person, able to build strong working relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable; important part of a small team.
• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries preferred but not required.
• Basic DBS or Disclosure Scotland check.
