HGV Class 1 Driver

Our Client is looking for professional Class 1 Night Drivers to join its established transport team. You’ll carry out store deliveries and trunking runs using a modern fleet, supported by a safety-focused and well-organised operation.

Night shifts offer quieter roads, predictable routes, and consistent working patterns.

Key Responsibilities

* Complete store deliveries and trunking runs across the region

* Carry out daily vehicle checks to DVSA standards

* Ensure safe loading and unloading of cages and pallets

* Maintain accurate paperwork and follow Tesco’s safety procedures

* Represent Tesco professionally at all delivery points

Requirements

* Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Strong safety awareness, especially during night operations

* Reliable, professional, and confident working independently

* 6 month UK driving experience needed
