HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) division is the largest industrial employer in Virginia and the sole designer, builder and refueler of U.S. Navy nuclear aircraft carriers and one of two providers of U.S. Navy nuclear submarines. Supervises employees who test and/or inspect products to determine compliance with specifications.

• Apprentice graduate, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 4 years of applicable technical experience. OR Related Apprentice certification (i.e. NDT, Dimensional Control) & 0 Years. Master’s degree and 2 years relevant experience.
• 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
• 8 years related non‑exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree and experience.

Additional experience and certifications that demonstrate expertise in advanced testing and inspection methodologies.
