Patient Care Technician (PCT)
Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is a nonprofit dialysis provider dedicated to individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease. We are seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join our interdisciplinary team and deliver high‑quality patient care in a supportive, mission‑driven environment.
OverviewDCI offers paid 12‑week training, competitive compensation, Sundays off, and a positive culture with a lower caregiver‑to‑patient ratio than most providers. Our mission is “the care of the patient is our reason for existence,” guiding every patient interaction.
Schedule & CompensationFull‑time, four 10‑hour shifts beginning at 4:30‑5:00 am;
Sundays off; no overnight shifts. Pay ranges from $18‑$22 per hour, based on experience; experience not required.
- Paid 12‑week training with a preceptor

- Participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities
- Guide new patients through a 120‑day education plan
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
- Work under RN supervision; set up and break down the dialysis blood system
- Insert and remove patient access needles; monitor patients and document changes
- Calculate patient weight loss to determine dry weight and prioritize care activities
- Maintain professional relationships, observe patient privacy, and track inventory
- Perform laboratory work as needed
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire to collaborate with care teams
- Problem‑solving ability
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required; CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and phlebotomy skills desired
- DCI provides a 3‑month comprehensive education program, including classroom group sessions and one‑on‑one skills training
- Dialysis experience not required; job shadow opportunities available
