Multi-Unit Team Leader

Join to apply for the Multi-Unit Team Leader role at H&R Block
. You’ll provide leadership over three HR Block tax offices and lead customer‑centric teams to accelerate the seasonal tax business. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.

• Lead the daily operations and development of associates across three tax offices.
• Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives.
• Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client targets (including developing local partnerships and community involvement).
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and collaborate with the Associate Relations Center to resolve issues and address performance concerns.
• Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training, coaching, and recognizing contributions.
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates.
• Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management.
• Travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.
• Ability to execute growth plans and lead a growth‑oriented culture.
• Strong decision‑making and judgment with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).

• Multi‑unit people management experience in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries.
