Fabrication, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
HII's Newport News Shipbuilding unit is seeking a skilled sheet metal fabricator to fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal components in accordance with blueprints and specifications, including control boxes, drain pipes, ventilators and furnace casings.
You will set up and operate fabricating machinery and inspect assemblies to ensure they meet required standards. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with potential certification as a plus for advancement.
