Description   We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our Transfusion Medicine team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting blood transfusions, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality transfusion services. This role is suitable for individuals with 0-3 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities    Conduct blood transfusions and ensure the safe and effective delivery of blood products to patients.
Perform compatibility testing and cross-matching procedures to prevent transfusion reactions.
Monitor patients during and after transfusions for any adverse reactions.
Maintain accurate records of blood products received, issued, and discarded.
Collaborate with medical staff to provide expert guidance on transfusion practices and protocols.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the transfusion medicine department.
Educate and inform patients and healthcare providers about transfusion-related issues.

Skills and Qualifications    MBBS or MD in Transfusion Medicine, Transfusion Medicine, or related field.
Strong understanding of hematology and immunology principles.
Familiarity with blood bank operations and transfusion protocols.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage records and data accurately.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in critical situations.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines in transfusion medicine.
