About Us:

Our upcoming School of Beauty  in  Gorakhpur  is dedicated to nurturing talent in cosmetology, hairstyling, makeup artistry, skincare, and aesthetics. We are looking for a knowledgeable and empathetic  Academic Counselor  to guide students through their academic and career journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel prospective and enrolled students regarding courses, curriculum, and career opportunities in the beauty and wellness industry.
Conduct one-on-one or group counseling sessions to help students with course selection, academic planning, and career guidance.
Maintain accurate records of student admissions, progress, and performance.
Assist students with resolving academic, administrative, or personal concerns.
Organize and conduct orientation programs, workshops, and career guidance sessions.
Coordinate with faculty to ensure smooth academic operations and student support.
Support marketing and admissions teams by responding to student inquiries and follow-ups.

Key

Skills & Requirements:

Proven experience in academic counseling, career guidance, or student support (preferably in cosmetology, beauty, or wellness education).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and guide students with empathy.
Knowledge of career opportunities in the beauty and wellness industry.
Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, email, student management software).
Professional, approachable, and positive attitude.

Other Preferences:
Background in cosmetology, beauty, or education is a plus.
Familiarity with beauty schools, certification programs, and industry trends.
Flexible and approachable for student interactions.
