Gorham School Department Elementary Alternative Programming Interventionist Teacher The Gorham School Department has an opening for an Elementary Alternative Programming Interventionist Teacher. State of Maine certification required. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with classroom teachers, Ed Techs, and families to design and implement specialized learning plans that meet the diverse needs of students. This role provides high‑quality instruction and support through a tiered system of interventions focused on developing functional skills, self‑regulation, and prosocial behaviors.
The overarching goal is to ensure that all students acquire the knowledge, skills, and habits needed to thrive as successful learners, individuals, and citizens in both the classroom environment and the broader global community.
