Great Falls Construction is seeking experienced Carpenter Technicians to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll construct, install, and repair wood and wood-related structures for both commercial and residential projects, contributing to all phases of construction—from framing to finish work. What You’ll Do
  • Follow all safety rules, regulations, and the company safety program
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and plans to determine project layout, dimensions, and materials
  • Perform carpentry tasks across all phases of construction:
  • Framing: build structural frameworks, walls, and subfloors
  • Rough carpentry: install rough door/window frames, temporary supports, and structural components
  • Finish work: install flooring, trim, cabinets, fixtures, doors, windows, and hardware
  • Measure, cut, and shape materials using appropriate tools
  • Verify accuracy and levelness of structures
  • Erect scaffolding or ladders for elevated work
  • Anchor, brace, and assemble frameworks using nails, bolts, rods, cables, and other materials
  • Repair or replace damaged structures or components
  • Communicate and collaborate professionally with supervisors, subcontractors, and crew members
  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support business needs
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A strong drive for action and results; comfort working in a fast-paced, focused environment
  • Working knowledge of basic math (arithmetic, algebra, geometry)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs individually and up to 100 lbs with assistance
  • Access to personal hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
